The City of Jacksonville (TDC) Partners with D.I.P. Foundation Event Breaking the Silence- Heels & Hearts Fashion Shoe Gala.
–Domestic Violence is one of the greatest overlooked problems in our society," says D.I.P.Foundation Director P.K. Mickens. "To date, domestic violence has been largely viewed as a private matter and a gender issue. We have to get to the place where society sees domestic violence as a violation of human rights over everything else. With the public's support, I hope that we can get to a place where we are not scared to speak out against abusers, and to see abusive behavior as a crime."
The Charity Fashion Shoe Gala presented by Shofar Media & Publishing Corp., to benefit D.I.P. Foundation is an eagerly awaited event where celebrities, designers, and artists will come together for the purpose of raising awareness and funds for victims of domestic violence in Jacksonville. The exciting part in the Gala is the high heel competition. Men and Women will strut on the runway with their most fashionable footwear before a panel of judges for a chance to win an array of prizes. Grand prize winner will take home the Actress/ Model “Lisa Raye” prize pack...
